Project narrative
The SATHI - Towards Quality Education Project focuses on improving the quality of education in government schools by creating an enabling and child-friendly learning environment.
The project promotes digital education through Smart Digital Classrooms equipped with interactive educational content, helping students experience engaging, inclusive, and activity-based learning.
Teachers receive continuous capacity building to strengthen pedagogical practices and improve the effective use of digital learning resources. The project also strengthens School Management Committees, parents, and local stakeholders to improve school governance, encourage regular attendance, and reduce dropout.
Through collaboration with the Department of Education, District Education Office, and Block Education Offices, the initiative promotes institutional convergence and sustainable improvements in government school systems.
By integrating digital learning, teacher professional development, and community participation, SATHI works towards equitable and technology-enabled learning opportunities for children from rural and vulnerable communities.
