Project narrative
The Cluster Facilitation Project supports the effective implementation of MGNREGA while promoting sustainable rural livelihoods through improved planning and technical assistance.
The project works as a technical support system for Gram Panchayats, assisting with GIS-based planning, preparation of Detailed Project Reports, estimation, Natural Resource Management, and livelihood-related interventions.
A multidisciplinary team with expertise in GIS and Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Forestry, and Agriculture supports community-oriented development planning and strengthens the technical capacity of Panchayats.
Key activities include GIS-based DPR planning, mango plantation support, Didi Badi Yojana, nutrition gardens, Rojgar Diwas, and field-level monitoring. The project aims to improve the quality and sustainability of rural development works while strengthening the institutional capacity of Gram Panchayats and rural communities.
